Pumpkins, Pumpkins on a Vine

Materials:
brown paper lunch sacks
orange paint
green paint
green ribbon or raffia
newspaper, tissue or plastic grocery sacks

Create a pumpkin vine in your classroom. Your children will have fun making pumpkins and displaying them in your room.

Have students open up their lunch sacks. Paint 2/3 of the bottom orange. The remaining portion of the sack should be painted green. Let dry completely. Stuff pumpkin with crinkled newspaper. With ribbon or raffia tie the top of the sack together.
