Pumpkin Play Dough
Discuss with students the ingredients for Pumpkin Play Dough. Have the students describe each ingredient. How does it feel? How does it smell? Is it a solid or a liquid? After making Pumpkin Play Dough discuss the changes
Ingredients:
2 c. flour
1 c. salt
2 c. water
3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
orange food coloring
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 tsp. cream of tartar

Combine ingredients in a large pot. Cook on low heat. Stir until dough forms and pulls away from the side of the pot. Remove the dough and let it cool. Then store it in an air-tight container.
Place Pumpkin Play Dough in a center for children to use to make alphabet letters, numbers, and shapes.
