An ideal early STEM resource, this set assists in the observation of floating or sinking concepts such as weight, volume, density, buoyancy and more. Children can predict an object’s ability to float or sink by observing its physical attributes. Children can also practice classifying and sorting the brightly colored manipulatives into “floaters” or “sinkers”. The Activity Guide provides extended play options and teaching ideas.
