Each of the 15 original stories found in Who I Am Is Up to Me focuses on a different theme. The middle school characters involved are locked into recognizable problem situations that require them to make choices to solve their problems. Each storyis accompanied by two teacher resource pages providing background information, suggested teaching tips, and related student activities for use both in and outside the classroom. There are also two reproducible student pages, which analyzethe alternatives presented in the story and provide an opportunity for students to share their personal experiences in similar situations. Students will become more aware of the moral dilemmas in their own lives and the impact of the decisions they make. 96 pp
