They model and name halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, eighths, tenths, and twelfths.Students use all of the models, plus fraction dice, as they compare and order fractions, find equivalent fractions, and add and subtract fractions. Finally, students solve mystery fraction puzzles and other story problems,using what they have discovered about fractions and the fraction models.
