Fifty Little Stories to Read by Evan-Moor – EMC 743

Using Little Books in Your Classroom

Young learners love stories—particularly stories about children or animals who have experiences that are similar to their own experiences. The stories in this book have been designed to reflect young learners’ experiences at school, at home, and during special days throughout the year. Read them often and enjoy their illustrations and their words.

• Make the little books and read them to your students.
• Reproduce the books and put them in your classroom library.
• Send the books home with your students.
• Encourage parents to discuss the stories with their learners.
