Beginning Reading On-Track Software helps children learn to read. This exciting software contains two animated stories: Jog, Frog, Jog and Nine Men Chase a Hen. Jog, Frog, Jog tells how a frog escapes from a big dog. Nine Men Chase a Hen tells how some men and hens learn about friendship. Children can choose to read the stories or have the computer read the stories. Rhyming words that are repeated, audio guidance, picture clues, animations, and sound effects all work together to ensure reading success.

In addition to the stories, the program also includes a helpful dictionary and a fun Create-a-Story section. The easy-to-use dictionary is there to give simple definitions of the words in each of the stories. The Create-a-Story component provides an introduction to creative writing by allowing children to use words and art to write, illustrate, and print original stories.
