Description

This large 42″ x 40″ laminated chart shows 10,000 centimeter squares separated by bold lines into ten vertical columns of 1,000 squares each. Once students have an understanding that one hundred can be perceived as a single entity (unitizing), use the 10,000 chart to further enhance number pattern skills. Without counting, students can visualize the chart at a glance and quickly determine the number in a random square. Chart helps students generalize their understanding of numbers and patterns to 10,000 and the relative size of numbers in each place.
