Making Change Octominoes provides playful practice in counting money and making change, and builds fluency in addition and subtraction. Each Making Change Octominoes includes two great school and home domino games, Coin Values and Making Correct Change. In Coin Values, players match the stated number of cents with a set of coins. In Making Correct Change, players figure the correct change for a dollar and find a matching set of coins. Amazingly, both games are self-checking! The unique octagonal starting board offers eight positions for placing dominoes, intensifying learning. Additional games provide options for meeting specific needs. Includes lesson ideas.
