Get students talking with Smart Talk, the interactive electronic learning aid that introduces and reinforces the essential vocabulary English Language Learners and all children with limited vocabularies need to know and use every day. This is an engaging program of association and repetition. Students SEE a photograph, HEAR the word associated with the picture, and then REPEAT the word over and over, practicing their pronunciation until they’ve added the word to their spoken vocabulary. Students then hear the word in IN CONTEXT and are asked QUESTIONS about the target word.

Smart Talk is intuitive and easy to use. Using crystal-clear audio, flashing lights, and fun sounds, Smart Talk guides the learner through a simple 3-step process. Just slide a picture card onto Smart Talk. It “magically” recognizes the card and sets the learning in motion. Smart Talk teaches 450 general and academic vocabulary words including people, places, things, actions, opposites, colors, shapes, numbers, and so much more. By emulating Smart Talk’s speech, students learn to use standard grammar patterns in sentences and questions. By answering Smart Talk’s simple questions, students reinforce their ability to construct sentences with the new vocabulary and hone their listening comprehension skills. Uses 3 AA batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter (sold separately).
