Our resource meets the measurement concepts addressed by the NCTM standards and encourages the students to learn and review the concepts in unique ways. We provide students the opportunity to learn, review, and master essential measurement skills by encouraging them to use, compare, analyze, and assess different units of measurement. Students will reinforce and develop their knowledge of measurement tools including: length, volume, time, money, weight and area. Students will be asked to use standard as well as metric units of measure as they practice these measurement skills. The task sheets offer space for reflection, and opportunity for the appropriate use of technology. Also contained are assessment and standards rubrics, review sheets, overhead transparencies and bonus work sheets.
