Our water supply is related to an overall series of events often referred to as the water cycle. In this context, the word “cycle” is used to mean a continuous repetition of like events – ; the movement of water molecules from bodies of water, the land, and living things on the land into the air and back again. To illustrate this process, two modes of presentation are used: The Water Cycle Model and a series of Study Cards. Make it rain in your classroom! Students can duplicate the individual processes of the water cycle, evaporation, condensation and precipitation with this ingenious, three-dimensional plastic model. Includes an eight page teacher-developed activity guide which fits into a three ring binder notebook along with the full-color overhead transparency for basic understandings to support classroom activity. Also includes a set of ten 8.5″ x 11″ colorful Water Cycle Study Cards which broaden the understanding of the water cycle and enhance awareness of the various states of water.
