Each unit includes seven 4-page lessons, an assessment, and science fair sugggestions.
Four-page lessons follow a consistent model: 1) one page of background information, 2) a hands-on experiment, 3) a math or language arts activity, and 4) an activity that uses a graphic organizer.
“Kitchen” science! Physical Science units are built around kitchen and cooking activities.
The Scientific Method is used to model the first project suggestion on each Science Fair page; additional ideas for projects are identified at the bottom of the page.
