Didax Active Place Value Set

Description

This big format place value set helps students to understand large numbers by recognizing the three possible digits in each period and then saying that period’s name. The charts make reading large numbers easier because the place values are indicated by numbers rather than the word name seen in most place value charts. Each of the five period charts (billions, millions, thousands, units, decimals) is 12″ x 36″ for wall display. The charts can be mounted next to each other to create large numbers. 92, 4″ x 6″ numeral cards are designed to be used in student games or can be attached to the charts with included hook and loop fastener dots. Includes suggestions that actively engage children to explore specific Common Core State Standards for understanding place value.
