西竹一
西竹一（にし たけいち）1902年～1945年3月22日 男爵。1932年のロサンゼルスオリンピックで、ウラヌス号を駆って馬術大障害飛越競技に優勝。戦車第二十六連隊長として硫黄島を守備。1945年3月22日戦死。
