消費税
日本における税金の一種。1989年4月1日から福祉税という名目で、すべての商品価格に間接税の形で含まれている。
導入当初の税率は3%で、1997年4月1日に5%に引き上げ。
消費税導入の審議において、参議院では、野党が審議を阻止する為、牛歩戦術を取った。
