Zygopetalum

Zygopetalum (Hooker 1833) is a genus of the Orchid family (Orchidaceae) (SUBFAMILY Epidendroideae, TRIBE Maxillarieae, SUBTRIBE Zygopetalinae), consisting of some forty species known from Central and South America. They are known for their fragrant flowers, robust growth form, and ease of culture.
