Yaren

Yaren (area 1.5 km², population 1,100 in 2003) is a district of the island nation of Nauru, located in the south of the island. The government offices:

• the Parliament House
• the earth station
• the administration offices
• the police station
• the Nauru International Airport and the air terminal
• the Moque Well

are located in this district. As the country has no cities as such, Yaren is usually listed as the capital of Nauru.
