Watto

In the Star Wars universe, Watto is a parts-salesman on Tatooine. Former owner of Anakin Skywalker and Shmi Skywalker, he lost young Anakin in a Pod Racing bet to Qui-Gon Jinn, then sold Shmi to a man named Cliegg Lars.
