Waitakere, New Zealand

Waitakere City is one of the territorial authority areas in New Zealand's Auckland region, located in the west, deriving the nickname of Westies often given to residents.

It includes the Auckland suburbs of Henderson and New Lynn, and is the home of the Waitakere Ranges and Piha beach.
