Ubol Ratana

The Former Her Royal Highness Princess Ubol Ratana is the oldest child of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand. She was born April 5, 1951. She later gave up her royal status on marrying the American Peter Ladd Jensen, whom she met while studying at MIT. She later did graduate work in public health at UCLA. They have three children. After years of rumored marital problems their divorce was officially announced in 1998. Ubol Ratana returned to Thailand where she now acts in a semi official capacity as "public relations princess".
