TV Guide is a magazine about only TV. The bulk of the weekly publication is taken up by the TV listings. The rest of it is filled up with reviews of shows or movies on HBO. TV Guide was published for the first time on April 3, 1953. It's first cover featured a photograph of Lucille Ball's newborn son Desi Arnaz Jr
