Trojane
Trojane, or Atrans, is a town in Slovenia.Ancient Romans have built a Roman road spanning Aquileia-Emona-Atrans (Trojane)-Celeia. This was a very important road, military, post and market place, and the town vas sorounded with a defensive wall.
The archeological remains of Atrans can be stil seen in Trojane. In the Roman Empire Trojane (Atrans) was on the border between Italy and the province of Noricum.
