Thomas Wolfe
Thomas Clayton Wolfe 1900-1938 was a famous American novelist. He wrote only four novels in his brief lifetime, but they are long works. He is known for mixing highly original, poetic, rhapsidical, and impressive prose with autobiographical writing.
He studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, acted with the Carolina Playmakers, and received his Masters at Harvard University.
