Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould

Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould, released in 1993, is an award-winning movie by François Girard about the famous classical music piano prodigy, Glenn Gould.

The form is inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, which was also Gould's much-acclaimed initial recording. It consist of a mixture of documentary items (five interviews with people who knew him), various odd scenes (such as Gould Meets McLaren, where animated spheres move to Gould's music), and re-creations of scenes from Gould's life, with Colm Feore as Gould.
