The Pussycat Dolls

The Pussycat Dolls are a female burlesque dance revue based in Los Angeles. The group was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995. The lead performer is model Carmen Electra. A number of celebrities, including Christina Aguilera, Christina Applegate, Brittany Murphy, Gwen Stefani, Charlize Theron, and Dita Von Teese, have also performed with the group. The dancers perform in lingerie and old-fashioned pin-up costumes and there is no nudity or explicit sex in their performances. The group has become nationally popular and has been featured in magazines, television series, ad campaigns, and movies.
