The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones were a
ska-
punk band of the
1980s and
1990s, connected with the success of bands like
Crass,
The Offspring,
All,
The Descendants,
NOFX,
Bad Religion,
Rancid and
Green Day, as well as
No Doubt and
Sublime. Their debut album was
Devil's Night Out (
1989 in music), followed by
1991's (
1991 in music)
More Noise and Other Disturbances and signed a major label contract with
Mercury Records, releasing
Don't Know How to Party. Their
1997 album
Let's Face It became a mainstream success due to "The Impression That I Get" (
1997 in music). It was followed by
Pay Attention and
A Jackknife to the Swan in
2002 (
2002 in music).

- 1985 - The band was formed in California of a ska and punk band
- 1986 - Joe Gittleman joins the band and recorded their demos.
- 1987 - They had released their demo EP of the complete full-length demos of 1986.
- 1988 - Joe Sirois leaves college and joins the band and he was 22-years old.
- 1989 - They had released and their demo EP of the complete full-length demos of 1988 and 1989 and then the full-length album Devil's Night Out in the US.
- 1990 - Devi's Night Out was released in the UK.
- 1991 - More and Other Disturbances was released.
- 1992 - Where'd You Go was released as an EP.
- 1993 - Don't Know How to Party was released.
- 1994 - Question the Answers was released.
- 1995 - Joe Gittleman had to retire and then recorded Let's Face It in October.
- 1996 - Let's Face It was still recorded.
- 1997 - Let's Face It was released.
- 1998 - A live album Live From the Middle East was released.
- 1999 - Pay Attention was recorded.
- 2000 - Pay Attention was released.
- 2001 - A Jackknife to a Swan was recorded.
- 2002 - A Jackknife to a Swan was released.
