One of the most popular games ever made by nintendo it pioneered the side-scrolling fighting genre.its major advantage is the fact that it has the most amazing multiplayer ever. Why? because it mixed the "button-masher" with those games that involve hitting 200 buttons to do anything decent(ala tekken). It uses all the buttons but no move requires more than two buttons.it has great courses and inspired items. it was made even better on the gamecube with super smash bros melee wich included trophies, a new mission mode, about 15 unlockable characters, over 20 courses and all kinds of new moves and modes. oddly enough though, oit has never been imitated despite its selling over 1000,000 copies on both systems.
