Something Wicked this Way Comes

Something Wicked This Way Comes (1962) is a novel by Ray Bradbury that was made into a film in 1983. The title is taken from the Witches' dialogue in William Shakespeare's Macbeth: "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes". It is about two boys named James Nightshade and William Halloway, who have an unpleasent experience with the carnival that comes to their midwestern town.


Something Wicked This Way Comes is a 1983 album by The Enid. The first Enid album to feature lyrics, written by drummer Chris North and sung in a mock-operatic style by founder and keyboardist Robert John Godfrey, it deals with the threat of nuclear warfare and the various ways in which people respond to it. The album has been released in three different CD versions, each with different bonus tracks.
