Saad Haddad
Saad Haddad was the founder and head of the South Lebanon Army (SLA).During the civil war in Lebanon, Haddad's militia collaborated with Israel and tried to create an independent state in southern Lebanon. After the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from southern Lebanon in May 2000, Haddad escaped to Israel. Lebanese officials want to try him for treason.
