Rupert Sheldrake

Rupert Sheldrake (born 1942) is a British biologist and author of several books. In his 1981 book A New Science of Life he put forward the hypothesis of formative causation or morphogenetic fields which basically suggests that memory is inherent in nature. This has proven controversial due to its deep implications for vision, cognition, perception, attention, philosophy of science and biochemistry.
