Rudolf von Sebottendorff

Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff (original name Adam Alfred Rudolf Glauer) (November 9, 1875 - May 9, 1945) was a German engineer, who became the head of Thule organization, which is known to provide an ideological basis to Nazis before World War II by combining the anti-Semitic activities with the occultist ideas of the Middle East. After the participation of von Sebottendorff, the organization quickly transformed from a religious cult into an organization of political activists dedicated to putting an end to the Weimar Republic.

They played a major role in several kidnapping events related to members of the republic. The organization also participated in the foundation of theGerman Workers Party, which changed its name to the Nazi Party after Hitler's election as the leader of the party. Von Sebottendorff committed suicide by jumping into the Bosporus in 1945.
