RSA Security is a NASDAQ-traded public company. Its headquarters are in Bedford, Massachusetts, and it maintains offices in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Japan. The company currently known as RSA Security was formerly known as Security Dynamics, who acquired RSA Data Security in 1996 and DynaSoft AB in 1997.

RSA Security's well-known products include the B-SAFE cryptography libraries and the SecurID authentication token.
