Roque

Roque was an event at the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis, United States. The name is thought to have derived by removing the first and last letters of Croquet, and it is generally believed to have been a variant of Croquet, which had been an event at the 1900 Summer Olympics. .

The medalists were: Gold, Charles Jacobus; Silver, Smith Streeter; Bronze, Charles Brown. All three were representing the USA. Few other details of the competition or rules are known.
