Rick Mercer's Monday Report
Rick Mercer's Monday Report will be a Canadian television comedy. The show focuses on Canadian politics, combining news parody, sketch comedy and satirical editorials. It marks his first Rick Mercer return to political satire on the small screen since the the termination of This Hour Has 22 Minutes.Mercer will travel around Canada and talk to Canadians in this new show, that will also include a monologue on the state of the world. The show will be pretaped in Toronto, Ontario in Canada.
The show will start broadcasting Monday, January 12, 2004 at 8 p.m. on CBC Television .
