Revised Chronology

Revising the Chronology for the ancient world for a better synthesis of all available evidences rather than dogmatic adhesion to misguided though well intended conventions established early on in the study of the area is the prime concern of the Institute for the Study of Interdisciplinary Studies (ISIS). Building upon the ideas of Immanuel Velikovsky, archeologist David Rohl has played a major role in this field with his New Chronology for Egypt currently gaining a more & more respectable standing all over the world. This chronology puts the dates on the Traditional Chronologies Based upon Egypt out by upto 300 years at points prior to the univerally accepted fixed date of 664BC for the sacking of Thebes by Asshurbanipal.
