Reservoir Dogs

Reservoir Dogs is Quentin Tarantino's debut as a film director. It was inspired by Hong Kong director Ringo Lam's movie Long hu feng yun (1987), which stars Chow Yun-Fat and Danny Lee, reportedly one of Tarantino's favourite films. The plot and many scenes were taken from it.

Synopsis

A gang of criminals rob a diamond warehouse, but the cops seem to show up a little too early. When the few criminals who get away meet up at the rendezvous point the question becomes, who of them is working as an undercover cop?
