Remagen
Remagen is a city in Germany in the Bundesland of Rhineland-Palatinate in the south of Bonn at the Rhine river.
Remagen became famous for it's Ludendorff-bridge that was captured by allied forces on 7. March 1945 by the 9th tank division. Although the bridge collapsed a few days later, the allies where able to build a bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Rhine, which led to a faster defeat of Germany.
