"Regular" Masonic jurisdictions are generally accepted to be those recognised by
the United Grand Lodge of England. The concept is somewhat complicated by the
fact that other complexes of jurisdictions which consider themselves "regular" do
exist. For example, a Prince Hall Grand Lodge may consider all Lodges it
recognises to be "regular," while those it does not recognise would be "irregular,"
even if they are recognised by the UGLE.
