Rauma, Norway

The municipality Rauma in the county of Møre og Romsdal, Norway, has 7,381 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002. The biggest town is Åndalsnes which is the administration center. Åndalsnes is situated at the mouth of the river Rauma, which flows through the valley Romsdalen.

The railroad Raumabanen terminates at Åndalsnes.

Rauma is frequently visited by tourists, especially due to the major sights Trollveggen in Romsdalen, and the Trollstigen road to Geiranger.
