RAF Halton

RAF Halton is one of the larger Royal Air Force (RAF) bases in the United Kingdom, located near the village Halton. It is now primarily a training school, although it once included a large military hospital, which is currently "iced". A major feature of the camp is the officers mess which is housed in Halton House - a French style mansion built by the Rothschild family. The camp also includes a grass airfield primarily used for gliding.
