R. L. Stine

R. L. Stine (born October 8, 1943) is an American writer. He was the author of dozens popular teenage horror novellas. He graduated from Ohio State University.

The Goosebumps series are written by R. L. Stine.

The spines of the book covers were commonly bright orange in color.

Plots involved naïve and ignorant teens who fell into sticky situations usually involving the occult, haunted houses and the supernatural.
