Pyromania is an obsession with fire and starting fires. Pyromaniacs are often convicted of arson. Pyromania is often believed to be linked to sexual fetishism.
The MTV comedy show Beavis and Butthead had many references to pyromania. Several teens and young chilren died from fires started by imitating the program.
