Puranas

The Puranas are part of Hindu Smriti; these religious scriptures discuss devotion and mythology. They were written c.400-1000; the Puranas primarily focus upon Shakti, Shiva, and Vishnu. Perhaps, the best known Purana is the Bhagavata-Purana.
