Pikk Hermann

Pikk Hermann = Tall Hermann. Tower of castle Toompea. First part built 1360-70. Rebuild (made taller - 45,6 m) 16th century. Pikk Hermann tower is situated next to Estonian Parliament building and the flag on the top of the tower is one of the symbols of the government in force. The national flag is rised at the time of sunrise and lowered at the time of sunset.
