Patrick Lane
Patrick Lane is a Canadian poet. He was born March 26, 1939 in Nelson, British Columbia. He first had his poetry published while he was a nomadic logger in Northen British Columbia. He has lived for many years with fellow poet Lorna Crozier. They live in Saanichton, British Columbia. He is the brother of poet Red Lane. His poetry tends to deal with humanity's harsh treatment of the Earth, and also often touches on the frequent violence of human interrelations.Works:
