Oka

Oka is Turkish measure of weight equaled to 1.28 kilograms.
Oka is also a river in Russia.
Oka is also the name of a car produced by Lada (named after the river).

Oka is a small town in Quebec, Canada. It is a semi-soft surface ripened cheese originated in 1893 by Trappist monks. When the monks had settled in La Trappe near Oka, Quebec, they brought their Port Salut cheese recipe from Brittany (France) and created Oka Trappist cheese.

Pungent aroma, soft creamy flavour. Also described as nutty and fruity. Most excellent to replace many semi-soft ripened cheeses in any dish.
