Naraku
Naraku （奈落） is a
villain in
manga and
anime Inuyasha.

Naraku was Onigumo
Naraku is a hanyou.(half demon - 'you' is derived from youkai, which also means demon)
But he was just a human,Onigumo (鬼蜘蛛） chieftain,who ravaged in neighboring country.
One day, Onigumo lost in split, he was burned. And Onigumo was pitched into precipice by his follower.
Onigumo was found dying by Kikyo. Kikyo harboured Onigumo in mercy, Onigumo could go from death. In those days, Inuyasha and Kikyo fell in love with. Onigumo lusted Kikyo ,so he sold himself to youkai for get power. Onigumo was united with youkai and became the hanyou, Naraku.

- Inuyasha - Naraku made a scheme to rob Shikon no Tama. Nanaku's scheme wasn't success but because of the scheme, Inuyasha was sealed Kikyo's madical arrow, and Kikyo died of wound from Naraku.
- Kagome - All of her friends have been betrayed by Naraku.
- Miroku - When Miroku's grandfather,a Buddhist monk,fighted against Naraku, Naraku cursed Kazaana on the monk's hand. Kazaana was passed down to Miroku.If Naraku is not defeated, Kazaana will cause Miroku to be sucked in as Miroku's grandgather and father.
- Sango - Her entire family was slain in Naraku's trap. Naraku framed Inuyasha, but Sango eventually learned who the real culprit was.
- Sesshomaru
- Kikyo - She is secretly plotting Naraku's downfall.
- Kouga - His wolf tribe was decimated by Naraku's foul plot. Naraku again framed Inuyasha, but Kouga eventually learned who was the real culprit.

Name
- Naraku means "abyss" or "hell" in old Japanese.
