Nam Sung-yong

Nam Sung-yong, or in revised romanisation, Nam Seung-yong (남승룡 ; 南昇龍) (1912 - February 2001), was the bronze winner of the Marathon of the 1936 Summer Olympics, completing the run in 2 hours, 31 minutes, and 42 seconds. He is also the first Korean bronze Olympian.

Like the gold medallist Sohn Kee-chung, the Japanese government forced Nam Sung-yong to use a Japanese name, Shoryu Nan (ナム・スンヨン).

After the Olympics, Nam Sung-yong worked at the Korean Sporting Association with Sohn Kee-chung.
