Mid-American Conference
The Mid-American Conference is a college athletic conference whose members are located mainly in the Midwestern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I-A.There are fourteen schools with full membership:
East Division
- University of Akron
- University at Buffalo
- University of Central Florida (UCF)
- Kent State University
- Marshall University
- Miami University
- Ohio University
- Ball State University
- Bowling Green State University
- Central Michigan University
- Eastern Michigan University
- Northern Illinois University
- University of Toledo
- Western Michigan University
In 2005, UCF and Marshall will leave the MAC for Conference USA.
Member schools participate in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross-country, field hockey, American football, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track, women's volleyball and wrestling.
The Motor City Bowl is a college football bowl game which features a team from the MAC conference.
